Driver Ed Services

Everyone will use our company vehicle to take the test. The test takes an average of 20 minutes. READ BELOW TO SEE WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

16-18 year olds:

• If you have held your valid permit for one year you will be able to test with us. 
• Note: If you are under 16.5 years old and you live within 30 miles of our school, you may pass the test, but the law will not allow you to get your license until you have also completed the 6 hours behind the wheel instruction with a certified instructor. You need to sign up to take this course first (on our web page) or you need to wait until you are 16.5 years old to take the test. 

18 years +:

• You must have a valid permit to take the test.
• Pictures of your permit are NOT allowed!
• You may use the MyColorado App for proof of your permit. 
• INTERLOCK TESTS: You cannot drive our company vehicle if you have an interlock system installed in your vehicle. The cost of an interlock test will be an additional $20, which is due before the test. If you are bringing an interlock vehicle, you will need to bring your current registration and proof of insurance. Additionally, all doors must be able to open and close from the inside and outside, windows must be able to roll up and down, turn signal lights and brake lights must work, and there cannot be any major cracks in your windshield.

Students will take the written permit test in class if they are within 30 days of their 15th birthday or older. If not, they will take a practice test. Students who are too young to take the test in class may choose to take the test at the DMV or return here when they are within the stated parameters. The drive test is also included in this package for half price ***your teen can take their drive test after holding their permit for an entire year.

In this course students will meet with our instructor in Alamosa, CO at 613 4th St. for a total of two sessions. Each session will be 3 hours long for the total of 6 hours of Behind The Wheel Instruction, as required by the State of Colorado.

All teens who want to get their driver's license prior to age 16 1/2 are required to have six hours with a certified instructor.

We do require at least 10 hours of driving experience before your first lesson.

This package includes a drive test at half price ($40).
