About Anshor Driving School

Duane Anderson

Duane Anderson is president of Anshor Driving School.  Grew up in Denver CO. and attended Ranum High School.  He attended Adams State College in Alamosa, CO on a full ride scholarship for football.  After Graduation, and teaching 2 years in Del Norte, he became the Driver's Education instructor for Greeley School District 6 at both Greeley West and Greeley Central for eight years.  Once the district dropped Drivers Education from the curriculum, he founded Anshor Driving School with partner Jerry Short in the fall of 1994. Duane is now the sole owner, has retired after 30 years of teaching, most recently in elementary education, and has been married for 37 years, with 3 fabulous kids.

Kurt Smith

Hi....I'm happy to be one of the skilled drivers for Anshor Driving School. I have been associated with education and/or coaching since graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1992. I currently teach Physical Education at the elementary level, but have taught students up through high school. My teaching endeavors have taken me from Guam to Arizona, and now back closer to "home" here in Colorado, where I hope to reside for many years to come. When I am not teaching school or teaching safe and proper driving skills to students, I can be found chasing fish about in various local waters. I have been married for almost a quarter of a century to my wonderful wife Kathy. We have 2 school aged children, our son is currently going through Anshor Driving School and our daughter will undoubtedly be an Anshor student sometime in the future.

Mark Shepperd

I have lived in Greeley for 40 years. I've been married to my beautiful wife Renee for 17 years and we have four children: Seth (16), Zack (15), JT (11), and Emmalyn (6). I graduated from Greeley West High School. Went to University of Northern Colorado where I earned a bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science. I have earned a MA degree from Colorado Christian University and earned an Educational leadership license from Western Governors University.  I have been a Physical Education, Health and Life Skills teacher for 16 years and have been an instructor at Anshor for  over 6 years. I love soccer and the Denver Broncos.    Looking forward to working with you to become the best driver you can become.

Kris Klemmer

I am a transplant from Minnesota and have lived in Colorado for over 25 years.  I graduated from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota with an Accounting degree.  After moving to Colorado, I have had quite a varied career - Auditor for the Dept. of Defense, small business owner, full time mom,  and Substitute Teacher in Windsor.   I   have three children in college.  Along with being the Manager at Anshor, I also teach Behind the Wheel lessons and administer drive tests.

Eric McRae

I moved to Colorado when I was 5 and lived on a ranch east of Sugar City, Colorado. I Graduated from Otero Junior College with an Associate Arts Degree and then the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelors and later a Masters Degree. While I was in the Greeley area with the school district I also taught Driver's Education. I've spent 28 years in educational administration and teaching in various school districts and have coached for 40 years and continue to coach. I now live in Rocky Ford, CO in the same Arkansas Valley that I grew up in. My hobbies include coaching and model trains.

Linda Miller

Some fun facts about me....
I've been to all 50 states (seems to impress people)
Originally from Chicago
Came here in 1999 for the weather and outdoors.
Found Greeley 7 years ago while looking for (cheap) affordable housing.
Was a nanny for 30+ years.
Did Foster care for 8
Supplemented income before driving (other than catering trucks) with catering work.
After knee surgeries I started driving - I've driven seniors around Greeley, and teens to their addiction programs.
Call me crazy, I love working with teenagers.
My idea of a good time is driving in the mountains with the windows down and the music up.

Kristine Davis

I am a Greeley native and graduated from Aims Community College with an AA degree. My husband and I have been married for 26 years, and we have been blessed with two beautiful  daughters, and four grandchildren.

I have eight years commercial driving experience with School District Six, including mountain and urban training. At the school district, I had the opportunity to teach CDL in the classroom and behind the wheel of a 40' bus. I collaborated with other trainers to develop safe driving techniques to be taught at in-service classes.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of Anshor professional's, so I can pass on the safe driving skills given to me.
